Hey CeGa,

Articulate's price is drastically different from Sliderocket, but so is its functionality. Sliderocket is essentially an online PowerPoint. Articulate is a PowerPoint add-on that delivers a robust eLearning development environment. This comparison is totally apples to oranges.

I don't use Sliderocket - I use Keynote for my presentation needs. And Articulate (with PowerPoint) for my eLearning development. Sliderocket has potential, but it's in no way an Articulate replacement. Yet.

Hi Chris,
Do you have any kind of update as to whether or not Articulate is still your dev app of choice? I'm curious, because I am looking at what all these online presentation tools have to offer and since the price point from Articulate is drastically different from Sliderocket, I wonder if you could maybe weigh in a little bit more on what you do with each app. Your two cents would be greatly appreciated!

Hi there,

I will be launching my site soon with full lms platform. I'm pretty much about to do everything you're doing and have been researching my ass off for the best way to do it ( and do it right!). Anyway, I have a Mac too. About to get the Articulate package. Will need the Parallels or VM for Windows, and Powerpoint too.

I've been checking out sliderocket for weeks. Here's a link one of the Articulate guys sent me

http://daveperso.articulate-online.com/9378829079

But a few problems: how do I sync audio? if the content is public @ sliderocket ( so there wouldn't be a 2nd sign-on ) ...how do I control the media usage? ( as people will be paying for these courses ), or I guess they just would'nt be able to find the link??

Do you ever create in Keynote and export to Powerpoint?

Cheers,
